Johannesburg - Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will visit South Africa next month, after making a trip to Arab countries in the Gulf, the British High Commission in Pretoria said on Thursday.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Tanzania immediately after the trip to South Africa, which will last from November 2 to 6. They will arrive in Africa after visiting Kuwait and Qatar.
The trip will focus on job creation, investment, education, disadvantaged people and environmental issues, according to the statement.
Prince Charles officially visited South Africa in 1997 and Tanzania in 1984. While Camilla has been to South Africa privately, this will be her first official trip and she has never been to Tanzania.
