Cape Town – South African actress Lesego Motsepe has decided to reveal that she is HIV positive on World Aids Day, reports Eye Witness News.
The actress, best known for her role as Letti Matabane on local soap opera Isidingo, has admitted that she has been living with the virus for almost 13 years.
Motsepe has stated that the reason for her confession is to make a difference in the lives of others after she suffered rejection and resentment after those close to her became aware of her status.
"The virus lives in my blood. For 13 years I had known, and I wanted to use the opportunity God gave me to be able to be a mentor to those who will be going through the same struggles I have gone through," she said.
