Johannesburg - Fancy yourself as a porn star?

Then the creators of a local porn movie, Sushilicious, are looking for you – and supermodel looks are not required.

LasThrow Entertainment will be shooting its next movie for release in December and needs new cast members.

The company’s chief director, Chris Black, said an untitled script is ready and shooting will start “very soon”.

Black said Sushilicious is not looking for supermodels but “the girl next door”.

“We want Nomsa, Nthabiseng – all shapes and sizes,” he said.

Sushilicious hopefuls will have to agree to have their naked bodies photographed for profiles and to being interviewed.

Shooting will start as soon as a casting agency delivers the next group of porn stars, but hopefuls can also approach LasThrow directly.

Black said more than 60 candidates were screened for Sushilicious 1, which had an all-black cast.

But this time coloured, Indian and white women will be “aggressively” recruited.

Proper lesbian scene

“We want to produce a multi-racial DVD,” he said, adding that he was planning to push the envelope a bit with what he called a “proper lesbian scene”. 

“A DVD has five scenes so we’ll need 10 cast members,” Black said.

LasThrow is considering releasing a double-disk Sushilicious 2 set in December, and Black promised to make the last scene “a big bang” featuring all 20 cast members (10 for each DVD).

Some of Sushilicious 1’s cast of seven – three girls and four guys – were working for a national television show before joining the Sushilicious crew, according to Black. He refused to identify the show, saying it would not want to be associated with Sushilicious.

All were from in and around Joburg – Melrose Arch, Orlando in Soweto and Rosebank.

Sushilicious’s three leading ladies – Caramel, Jazz and Bushy – were at last week’s Sexpo in Joburg.

Joburg-born Jazz, 24, holds LasThrow’s record of completing three scenes in less than eight hours.

LasThrow has challenged would-be cast members: “See if you can beat that!”One of the Sushilicious 1 actresses said she got R3 000 for her 40 minutes of fame.

Another porn industry entrepreneur said casting agencies are paid between R4 000 and R7 000 a call (scene), but what actors and actresses get is based on the contracts signed.
