Cape Town – Comedian Trevor Noah's mother has revealed that she has no interest in "Trevor's things" despite his burgeoning career success and international appearances, reports Times Live.
Trevor Noah recently became the first South African comedian to be featured on American late-night talk show The Tonight Show with Jay Leno – an honour that has garnered him plenty of praise and attention from around the world.
Iconic presenter Jay Leno was reportedly impressed with the 27-year-old and his distinctly South African comedy set was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience according to Noah.
After the appearance on the show an elated Trevor Noah tweeted: "Just did the Tonight Show set and it was amazing. I got a standing ovation! Words cannot describe how happy I am."
However, despite the success her son has been enjoying The Times reported that Trevor Noah's mother, Patricia Noah is not at all concerned with her son's comedy/acting career and rather prefers to concentrate on religious matters.
When interviewed by The Times she allegedly responded saying : "I have not even watched one movie or show, and I know nothing about his life. I'm strictly into God's things - not interested in Trevor's things."
