Cape Town – RnB superstar Usher was spotted indulging in some retail therapy at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on Wednesday, reports 2oceansvibe.

The star, who is visiting South Africa to headline the Hansa Festival of Legends in Johannesburg, reportedly spent R50 000 at the Puma shop.

Shopper Roger Sterling said: "He came in and must have spent about fifty thousand rand on shoes."

Fans were going crazy, snapping pictures and surrounding Usher, who was protected by his entourage of bodyguards.

A bystander, Dawn Tinsley, told 2oceansvibe: "Oh my God it was absolute chaos – I tried to get him to sign my cap but I couldn't get close enough."
