HOT PICS: We go behind the scenes of SA’s most badass ballet company!

Cape Town – Bovim Ballet, the brainchild of Sean Bovim, is making ballet super-sexy and entertaining by creating popular works that draw in a new and young market.

Channel24 got a rare and exclusive glimpse behind the curtain of the group’s latest production, Ovations.

You can catch the show at the Oude Libertas open air Amphitheatre in Stellenbosch from 3 to 12 March.

Over the last seven years, Sean Bovim has created 5 extraordinary ballets which have wowed thousands of dance enthusiasts across theatres throughout South Africa.

Their latest offering will entertain you with hand-picked favourites from Tango Nights, SwingTime, Romeos Kiss, Queen at the Ballet and Private Presley.

The audience can expect a night of magical duets, breath-taking trios as well as Bovim's signature crowd pleasing hits.

Tickets start from R160 and the show kicks off at 20:15. Go early and have a picnic on the lawns before the show starts. (Buy tickets here!)
