LADIES who thought that the Mthande hit-maker, Musa Sukwene, has been taken can now breathe a sigh of relief. Musa is still a single man, if his word is to be believed.
Rumours have been doing the rounds that the 2013 Idols winner is madly in love with Mzansi Insider presenter, Rorisang Thandekiso. Different people claimed that they had spotted them together on several occassions looking very cozy. But both Rorisang and Musa deny that they are an item. Musa tells Move! that he is single. “I’m as single as they come. I’m not in a relationship with anyone. Right now, I’m concentrating on raising my eight-year-old son,” he says.
BEING A FATHER AT A YOUNG AGE
The 30-year-old singer, who became a father at the age of 22, says that he enjoys fatherhood even though his career sometimes gets in the way of spending quality time with his son. “It’s a beautiful experience having a mini me. I had my son when I was 22 years old and there were some challenges but my family supported me and I was able to raise my son. He is wise beyond his age and sometimes helps me to make decisions regarding my music career,” he confides. Musa says that a lot of people find it strange when he calls his son for advice. “Sometimes I call him and ask him what I should do regarding something, and he helps me. It’s amazing what God can do through children,” he says.
RORISANG DISMISSES THE RUMOURS
Rorisang has also poured cold water on the rumours that she is in a relationship with Musa, who is known for serenading thousands of fans with his music. Rorisang, who is a born-again Christian, tells Move! that she is in a relationship but not with Musa. She insists that she is just friends with Musa. “I’m not in a relationship with Musa, we are just friends. I have known him for a couple of months. We first met when we were doing some work together and we have been friends ever since,” she says, adding that she is in a relationship with someone who is not in the entertainment industry. “I don't like dating guys in the entertainment industry. I’m with someone who is not in the limelight. I’m with a man who understands my values. I’m with someone who understands that I’m keeping myself pure for marriage. I’m a born-again Christian and still a virgin,” she says.
