Social media trashes Marks Maponyane | Drum

According to Sunday World, the sports commentator was found guilty for assaulting his estranged wife. Maponyane pleaded guilty to the charges and was fined R3000 or six months imprisonment and a further R6000 or 24 months imprisonment which was suspended for 24 months.

People did not take this lightly amid all the cases of assault on women, some stating that Marks, Deputy Minister Mduduzi Manana and Arthur and Shaka Sisulu were on the "same WhatsApp group".
