The Aussie Circus is in town, mate!

Cape Town – AUSSIE: The Australian Circus Spectacular is an electrifying, energetic and entertaining, professional international circus theatre production – marking its international debut in South Africa for a limited show season only.  

South Africa is the first ticket on the AUSSIE world tour, which will be touring the country with the first stop being Cape Town on 12th February before moving onto Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Pretoria and Johannesburg, with short stop-overs in George and East London.

The acts

A wild and inspiring show, including a few firsts for South Africa: One of the only surviving human cannonball acts in the world.

To keep audiences dizzied and dazzled, the Globe of Death features up to five motorbike riders encircling each other and their daring dancer, before the globe splits in half.

Not to be outdone, the show also includes incredibly dangerous and energetic FMX stunts, where world-renowned professional FMX riders jump over the Globe, beneath the Big Top. 

The headline acts are accompanied by an talented and daring troupe of AUSSIES, who perform superhuman feats of endurance, skill, artistry and strength – all the while, aiming to delight and entertain.

Important tidbits

- No animals whatsoever. 
- Clowns wear modern garb and perform vaudevillian comedy routines, so none of the scary stuff. 
- The show has a very strong and well-developed CSI component – they reserve half of their opening night seats for complimentary invites from local charities and community organisations.
