Being a pop star isn't child's play

Justin Bieber's losing it.

He's freaking out at photographers, showing up two hours late for shows, cancelling others... He's behaving like a bratty teen and for the millions who've paid to see him live, that's not on.

But let's not forget that he is exactly that - a teenager; an extremely hardworking teenager.

Justin Bieber has been working non-stop for the past few years and perhaps the kid just wants a break to smoke some weed, wear stupid clothes, or blow off work for a night out in Amsterdam. Teenagers are supposed to act stupidly and behave badly. It's a part of growing up.

Therefore I'm pretty darn excited he's acting out like this. It was bound to happen sooner or later. I pick sooner.

If all turns out well, he'll reclaim his good-boy image in a few years and turn into something like Justin Timberlake. If it doesn't, he might turn into Charlie Sheen. Who knows. Celebville is a cruel, unforgiving place.

But one thing's for sure: If he continues to pretend to be fine with his micro-managed life, he could end up doing far worse than Charlie Sheen. Some kid stars turn out great - Neil Patrick Harris, for example - and others not so great (Miley Cyrus, Amanda Bynes).

Being a teenager is hard enough. Let's give Justin a break, huh?

This one's for all the hardworking kids out there.

Local is very lekker!
