Get Your Blog On

One thing that I've learned in my seven years as a journalist is that people love spying on each other.

What is surprising is how celebrities use this to their advantage. The easier you make it for people to spy on you, the more famous you can be. Think Kim Kardashian.

Even relatively minor celebrities use this trick to steal more of the limelight. I mean, that is how Big Brother contestants get famous, right? In fact, I dare you to try it. Share something private on your blog, Twitter or Facebook once a day for a week and see.

Here at Channel24 we decided to get back into blogging. Not because we crave more fame, although that wouldn't hurt, but because we know that some of the best entertainment sites out there are blogs. Have you ever heard of Perez Hilton, Just Jared, ONTD and Huffington Post or local sites Just Curious or TV with Thinus?

So, let's get our blog on... If you create a blog on the Channel24 platform, your musings will be featured with the freshest and fiercest entertainment content on the web.

It's an instant recipe for fame.

Find the Channel24 team on Channel24 Blogs:

Our Gossip and TV editor Sam started this Guess the Celeb blog. If you think you have a decent knowledge of celebrities - test it here.

Anton, our music editor, blogs about his favourite musicians and what local bands are getting up to.

Shaheema, our movies editor, has an astounding knowledge of movies and will be testing what you know with fun games and puzzles on her blog, The Big Screen Queen.

If you’re an indie kid but also an undercover lover of pop culture, you’ll have lots to talk about with Inge, our very knowledgeable all-rounder. Read her blog, Culture Pop.

Jean-Marie, our News editor, also guitarist and singer for Die Melktert Kommissie, will share some personal musings and experiences, like this fun story of how she ran into Ard Matthews in J-Bay last weekend. Read Now You Say Something here.

So, what are you telling the world about?

Happy blogging!
