Hollywood is pregnant!

“There’s nothing quite as sexy as a pregnant woman in a tight shirt...”

I remember reading an article in Men’s Health and thinking to myself, “Wow, is that how men see pregnant women? How beautiful”. In my defence, I was fresh out of varsity and naive.  Now, years later, I think the writer was either talking about his wife’s breasts or he's married to a celebrity. Look at these pictures of pregnant celebs and tell me you don’t agree?

Sure, most women feel beautiful when they're pregnant but the ugly truth is your guy is probably thinking: “Who is this whale and what has she done with my wife?” I mean, that is if you’re a human, in Hollywood things work a bit differently...

In Hollywood, as in the movies, you don’t grow, you glow. This is why so many celebs are doing it. Just this week we heard that Kimberly Stewart is pregnant with Benicio del Toro's baby, 30 Rock star Tina Fey is expecting her second child, so is SA model Nicola Breytenbach Steiner and Tori Spelling is expecting her third child.

Other celebs who are expecting are Britney’s ex Kevin Federline (isn’t it like his fifth child or something?) and Victoria Beckham (she wants to name her new daughter Santa!). There’s also Mariah Carey, Kelly Brooke, Alyssa Milano, Bryan Adams, Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman, Guy Ritchie, Scary Spice and Baby Spice. That makes three Pregnant Spices by the way.

In the last few weeks supermodel Eva Herzigova, Rachel Zoe, actress Elizabeth Banks, Rod Stewart (baby no 8), Sophie Dahl and Zuraida Jardine have all welcomed new babies into the world.

And they say it's the Third World countries that are overpopulating the earth.

‘Til next week!
PS: If you’re in Hollywood, don’t drink the water.

Local is very lekker!
