Living for the live shows

2011-10-25 12:02
We've been incredibly lucky this year.

U2, Kylie Minogue, Coldplay, Roxette, David Guetta and many others have graced us with their live performances. It seems SA is no longer the armpit of the world tour circuit.

And now Kings of Leon. Sure, we've had to wait a while (they were due to play here in March before they postponed), but the Sex on Fire rockers are finally here.

We hope they like it in SA: We hope our pigeons behave themselves and the African sun isn't too hot for them. Poor things.

But most importantly we hope they don't disappoint. Do you think they'll be worth the wait? Vote here.

If this year's international acts haven't been your cup of tea, maybe this will interest you. Janet Jackson, Tori Amos, Josh Groban, Deadmau5, Boney M and Seether are still to visit our shores before the end of the year.

While we're pleased with this progress, there are many big ticket artists we at Channel24 are still dying to see: Foo Fighters, Beyoncé and John Mayer top our list.

Who are you most excited to see live?  Pop us a mail and let us know.

'Til next week,

Local is very lekker!
