PICS: We snapped Matthew McConaughey in Cape Town

Cape Town – Channel24 reported last month that Matthew McConaughey and his family had arrived in South Africa.

The Hollywood star is currently in the Mother City to film The Dark Tower alongside Idris Elba.

Elba will play the gunslinger and McConaughey will be playing the villainous man in black.

Since his arrival in Cape Town the Oscar winner has been keeping out of the spotlight with only a few people reporting that they spotted him out and about.

On Tuesday night The Dark Tower cast were filming right next to our offices in Darling Street at the Eastern Food Bazaar (their Butter Chicken is the best).

We waited in anticipation to get a snap of the A-list cast but it was getting dark quickly (winter sucks).

Just as we were about to give up Mr. McConaughey appeared and we got three blurry snaps of him.
