Cape Town – On Saturday, 8 October Johannesburg’s central suburb of Braamfontein will be transformed into a tropical paradise complete with palm trees and a rocking soundtrack.

Here’s everything you need to know about the #BraamBeachParty including all about the venue, the line-up and where to get tickets.

Here are highlights from the stellar line- up:

AKA

This local rapper seems to be just as famous for his Twitter rants as his rhymes. Love him or hate him AKA is always entertaining.

DJ Tira

Tira is a veteran of SA music that still knows how to stay relevant. The DJ will drop beats- like his and Babes Wodumo's megahit Wololo -  that will turn up the heat at this summer party.

Shekhinah

Newcomer Shekhinah has recently set local airwaves alight by featuring on hit songs with Kyle Duetsch and Sketchy Bongo. The local singer offers fans a fresh take on modern urban pop. We look forward to her upcoming album which popular local DJ Black Coffee is working on with her.

Riky Rick

This Mabala Noise artist is as flamboyant as he is talented and is sure to get the crowd nodding their head to his hit songs like Boss Zonke

Melo B Jones

This local powerhouse has a distinct voice that she utilises in a way that will make you say: wow. Here’s her epic cover of a track by fellow act on the day, AKA.

Atjazz and Jullian Gomes

Bringing the house beats to the party will be Atjazz and Jullian Gomes who are not slated to perform together but do bring a dual punch of urban to the line-up.
