Cape Town – The day has finally arrived for the start of the 11th edition of SA’s favourite and largest music and lifestyle festival, Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies!

Check out this crash-course on everything you need to know for the weekend of a lifetime.

Step 1 – You’ve got your ticket, all is sorted.

Before you get in your car to Darling, double check that you have your ticket. No ticket. No entry. That’s done, what’s next?

Step 2 – Download the Rocking the Daisies App.

This gives you full line-up times and tasty information titbits to chew on. You’ve come to see as many of the 250 acts on offer, don’t miss your favourites.

Step 3 - Packing for Daisies.

Superbalist has already delivered your hottest threads, but remember we love the environment so pack lightly. Bring your refillable water bottle as water points are dotted around the festival site. Pack for warm days and very chilly nights.

Step 4 – Load your cashless cards.

No need to be carrying around those 10’s and 20’s, we’ve gone cashless with Howler Loaded. For the first time in South Africa you’ll use your Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies wristband to transact within the entire festival. Load up with any amount that suits you, online before the event, at the pre-collection or at one of the 6 Get Loaded stations strategically located within the event.

Tap your fabric wristbands to pay at a bar, merchandise, food or trader stand to instantly complete your transaction. No pin, no incorrect change, no card or cash needed. You will be able to cash out 14 days after the festival. Click here for more info.

Step 5 – Remember #DaisiesSpringClean2016.

When the sun starts setting on Sunday after a magical four days, remember to donate clothing items for #DaisiesSpringClean2016. Whether it’s a jacket or a jersey, leave it at #SxRtD2016 for someone who could really use it. You can bring those old forgotten favourites to the festival as well, simply hand them in when you arrive. Find us at the re-entrance gate on Thursday and Friday, and at the exit gates on Sunday. Just drop off your donation and we’ll do the rest!

Step 6 – Get your hands on the official Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies merchandise.

Make those Daisies memories last forever and get your hands on the official merch. This can be bought at the Daisies Shop located at the Main Stage.

If you’ve pre-collected your ticket, gates open on Thursday 6 October at 10:00 and 12:00 for those who have not pre-collected tickets. Friday, Saturday and Sunday gates open at 08:00.

You made it – Welcome to your Daisies!

2016 sees us expanding festival favourites and adding a few new treats like an exciting Superbalist concept lounge, Hoop Flow Love, Trash Exchange, Laughing Yoga,  The Hammock Garden, The Whisky and Mo Chill Area and of course, The Secret Stage. Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies has taken on double the space which can only mean double the fun. With more shade, more security, more showers and ablutions and of course more bars, Daisies has got you covered this year. World-class art & light installations, stage decor and surprises await you.
