William and Kate's honeymoon plans
London - Prince William and Catherine have put all nerves aside and enjoyed a faultless ceremony that proceeded without a glitch and was clearly very well rehearsed.
The pair seemed calm in front of 1900 guests as they were married in Westminster Abbey in London.
When Catherine took her place beside Prince William he whispered the words "You look beautiful" to her whereafter the church broke out in song singing Guide me, O thou great Redeemer.
William and Catherine stood at the altar- only steps away from the very spot where Diana's casket was placed during her funeral in 1997.
William sounded a tad nervous as he uttered the words "I will" for the first time, while Catherine said her vows in a soft, demure tone.
William also had a little difficulty placing the wedding band on Catherine's finger.
As the pair were officially joined in holy matrimony, thousands of fans and well wishers could be heard as they cheered outside the abbey.
The newly wed couple will spend their first night as man and wife at Clarence House.
Thereafter they will start their honeymoon at Balmoral Estate in Scotland, after which they will depart for the Caribbean Islands.
Prince William and Catherine shared their fist kiss as married couple on the balcony of Buckingham Palace where roaring cheers rose up from the crowd.
