Glad about Glee - pt. 5

2009-10-02 14:35

Previous: Noah Puckerman and Quinn Fabray

Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch)
Glee isn’t exactly stuffed to the gills with stars (yet) but if there’s one character that’s going to cause the most buzz, it’s tough-as-nails cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester. “You think this is hard?” she asks her talented, but rusty, cheer troupe in the opening scene of the first episode. “Try being waterboarded, that’s hard.” You wouldn’t want to get on her wrong side.

Ken Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher)
You might recognise this actor as Chow from True Blood, and it seems as if he's as good at being funny as he is at being solemn and evil. Ken Tanaka is the football coach at McKinley High School. He's an old jock, not interested in much, besides scoring a date with Emma.  His self-absorbed quips provide many laughs.

Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays)
Quirky, odd, weird and dealing with multiple obsessive, compulsive disorders. Emma is the school's guidance teacher and she's got a big, obvious crush on Will. However, she's completely sincere in her efforts to show Will what he's really made of. Okay, maybe she has a teeny, tiny agenda...
And that wraps up the who's who in Glee. Remember to catch it on M-Net starting Sunday 4 October at 6pm.

Here's a who's who of M-Net's fantastic new high school TV show.
