HHP's got Respect for TV

2010-03-16 09:26

HHP just loves the small screen, doesn't he! After a very successful stint on Strictly Come Dancing, Jabulani Tsambo (his real name) will be trying his hand at presenting SABC 1's latest local offering called Respect.

The new half-hour talk show starts on Wednesday 17 March at 18h30 and promises to be a "melting pot of movers and shakers from various fields". It aims to let the public know of people that deserve and require acknowledgment to continue their struggle.

HHP, or "Jabba", is a great music artist, and he's all-round a great guy. But will he be a great talk show host? We think it's fair that he gets the chance to prove his chops. Hey, it's not as if his competition on SABC 3's talk show is all that stiff.

The channel says he's the perfect choice because "with his socially minded approach, his wit and charm brings a refreshing take on the art of talk shows."

We're looking forward to it! Will you be tuning in?
The hip hop star will be hosting a new television show about people who have contributed to shaping South Africa's landscape.
