Remembering Zack du Plessis

Zack du Plessis, veteran South African actor, has died at the age of 62.

The star of classic South Afican television shows Orkney Snork Nie and Vetkoek Paleis will be remembered for his dry humour and ever-present frown.

In an interview with SABC News, Zack's co-star Frank Opperman, who played his son Ou Boet on Orkney Snork Nie, said: "Ek voel soos 'n weeskind. Ek wil net vir oulaas sê, 'Howzit, Pa!'" (This loosely translates as "I feel like an orphan. I just want to say one last time, 'Howzit, Pa!'")

Du Plessis was also the presenter of a comedy show called Maak 'n Las.

We revisit some of his classic lines and funniest moments on South African TV.
