Survivor SA: Two down

2010-01-21 10:16

Two people have left the celebrity reality show and this week was just the first episode! The first wuss was model-cum-actress Christina Storm who decided life without her daughter Ruby and the comforts of home was just too much for her fragile nails being.

Suffering more humiliation was Gladiator Granite, aka Garth Collins. This poor guy gets roped into every reality show and never succeeds. Remember how awful he was stumbling round the dancefloor in Strictly Come Dancing? He injured his leg this week, making him an easy target for island eviction.

Two of the contestants, Craig Jacobs and Kaseran Pillay, were appointed tribe choosers. Kaseran is the man in blue with the Timbila tribe and Craig chose his red Chibudu tribe. Wonder how fashion man Craig interprets those colours...

At first glance, Chibudu were expected to reign supreme in the challenge because of all their big strong men (Garth, Okkert Brits, Gys de Villiers) but because there were too many chiefs and little teamwork, they ended up at Tribal Council.  Sade lashed out at bossy Craig when Nico asked her how she felt about their so-called 'leader'. Meow! Eventually everyone in the Chibudu tribe voted for Garth to go home. But as Nico put it, at least they have fire now thanks to their torches.
The tribes going into the second episode are as follows:

Timbila (blue)
Ashley Hayden, Cindy Nell Roberts, Darren Maule, Izak Davel, Kaseran Pillay, Lady Lea, Louw Venter, ProVerb and Sandi Schultz.

Chibudu (red)
Craig Jacobs, GiGi, Gys de Villiers, Hanna Grobler, Jub Jub, Okkert Brits and Sade Giliberti.

Who would you like to see leave the island next?
