Sunday night saw the last group of seven Top 14 contestants perform for a spot in the Top 10. Mkwela, a 24-year-old prosthetics technician from Durban, performed Adele's Chasing Pavements, while Peppeta chose former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's first hit, A Moment Like This.

Jamie-Lee Sexton, who performed Duffy's Mercy, also ended up in the bottom three according to viewer votes. Judge Randall Abrahams said this was exactly the bottom three he would also have chosen.
