As for me and my household, SABC is rubbish.
The only channel that has some substance is SABC3, only due to the programs such as Top Billing and National Geographic/Nature shows. SABC3 in a whole has a professional image.
The rest is rubbish. Programming is one sided and a large percentage of the kids/toddler programs is in an ethnic language.
I am getting myself DSTV in September as SABC is dull. I prefer ETV as it has a much bigger variety than all three SABC channels and their news is on a international standard. SABC and the national broadcaster trails far far behind in this sense.

ETV needs also needs to re-think their Sunday movies. If I hear Anaconda is to be screened one more time....
SABC needs to seriously come to the party with regards to quality programs if they would want to get close to Multichoice, which also loves to repeat programs but a tleast they own the sport in SA, something that SABC didnt care about.
