10 awesome Game of Throne facts you didn't know

Los Angeles – Game of Thrones is back and in full swing and after its record breaking season 4 premiere the epic series has been renewed for two more seasons.

The folks at Buzzfeed put together a story that will make even the most hardcore fans gasp.

Here are 10 things that blew us away:

1. More than 150 babies were named "Khaleesi" in 2012.

2. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, adopted the dog that played her dire wolf in the show. The dog is named Zunni.

3. Peter Dinklage is vegetarian. All the "meat" he eats on the show isn’t real.

4. The actor who plays Theon, Alfie Allen, is the brother of Lily Allen. She even wrote this song about him.



5. The actor who plays Bran’s 13-year-old companion Jojen Reed is actually 23 in real life. He’s the boy from Love Actually.

6. The Dothraki language was created just for the show and contains more than 3 000 words.

7. George RR Martin revealed the ending of the book series to the television show’s producers DB Weiss and David Benioff in case he does not live to finish the books.

8. There is a Game of Thrones porn parody called Game of Bones.

9. After the first episode of the show aired, the actor who plays Joffrey, Jack Gleeson, received a letter from George RR Martin that read, "Congratulations, everyone hates you!"

10. The original pilot of the show has never been aired.
