2 things you need to know about Idols SA season 12

Cape Town – There's just no stopping the popular reality singing competition, Idols SA. 

Now in its 12 season, the first phase of the audition round recently completed in Cape Town.

The caliber of talent in the Mother City undoubtedly closed off the audition tour on a high note.

Pretoria leads with the largest number of Golden tickets issued at 21, followed by Cape Town’s 20 while Durban and Pretoria are tied at 19.

But of the 79 Idols SA hopefuls, judges will have to be unrelenting when choosing the Top 16.

2 big changes!

Theatre week also known as hell week has two big changes. 

The week of dread has found a new home, Wild Coast Sun in KwaZulu-Natal.

And for the first time in Idols SA history, the Top 16 process will be open to the public on 8 April 2016.
