Hannibal

Based on the Thomas Harris novel Red Dragon. The series focuses on the relationship between FBI special investigator Will Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist. This dark thriller will have you biting your nails in anticipation. Tuesdays at 21.50 on Sony Entertainment TV (DStv channel 127)





Vikings

If you’re into historical dramas this one is for you. The series is inspired by historical facts and legends of Medieval Scandanavia. With themes of ambition, power, revenge,family and betrayal this series is a must-see. Thursdays at 22:00 on M-Net Series Showcase (DStv channel 113)



Devious Maids

This is a perfect fuller for all the Desperate Housewives fans this series is created by Marc Chetty best known for Desperate Housewives. Set in glitzy Beverley Hills this series follows the lives of five maids who work for wealthy families.  Thursdays at 20:00 on M-Net Series Showcase (DStv channel 113)



The Originals

The spin off series from the Vampire Diaries centres on the Original vampire family. Sexy vampires, witches and werewolves will keep you glued to your screen. Wednesdays at 20:00 on M-Net Series Showcase (DStv channel 113)



Rockville

Set in Mzansi this series follows the lives of two families the middle-class Bogatsus who live in Johannesburg suburbs and the working class Mobasos who live in Soweto. This local drama is dark, sexy and edgy all the ingredients to keep you entertained. Sundays at 20:00 Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161)
