5 fun new shows for the kids on ShowMax this June

Johannesburg - With a long weekend and school holidays coming up, here are five sweet shows to stream or download for the little ones.

ShowMax’s internet TV service gives you access to thousands of shows, movies and children’s programmes online for a monthly subscription of R99. All you need is an internet-connected device like a smartphone or tablet, smart TV or DStv Explora and you can watch what you want, when you want it. Even better, you don’t need to be online to watch. 

With the Android and Apple mobile apps, you can download up to 25 shows to watch offline, meaning you can take advantage of Wi-Fi zones and not use your data when you’re on the go.  Perfect for the holidays!

1. Thomas & Friends S13 - 19
Age 3+ –  This popular show about a group of adventurous trains and other vehicles is a firm favourite with preschoolers. Each season features sweet stories about friendship, teamwork and taking responsibility,

Age 4+ – Boys and girls will love this feisty medieval hero who always knows just what to do to get himself out of a pickle!

3. Pingu S1 – S6
Age 3+ – An adorable show featuring the lovable Pingu, a young clay penguin living at the South Pole. He has lots of fun with his family and friends.

4. A Monsterous Holiday
Age 7+ – A fun family film about a young scientist who has to save the town when his Halloween science project goes horribly wrong and he creates a monster.
Planned Release Date: 17/06

5. Frozen In Time
Age 5+. In this positive holiday movie, Patty and Eric accidentally break a clock in their grandfather’s workshop, causing Christmas Eve to repeat itself over and over again. How will they fix time and still enjoy Christmas?
