4. The Brittany Murphy Story (2014)

According to Rolling Stone the film was shot in just 16 days.

The film stars Amanda Fuller who looks nothing like Murphy at all. The actress told TV Page that she had two days to prepare for the role.

Time reported that the network pegged the biopic as a murder mystery. But that it did not explore the darker speculations surrounding her life and death.

5. William & Kate: The Movie (2011)

This biopic aired 11 days before the royal couple tied the knot.

It stars Camilla Luddington as Kate Middleton and Nico Evers-Swindell as William and was directed by Mark Rosman and written by Nancey Silvers.

Some of the main criticisms surrounding the film was that it was shot in the US and that the actors didn't resemble the real-life couple at all.

The Guardian called it "awful, toe-curlingly, teeth-furringly, pillow-bitingly ghastly" while The Daily Mirror said the movie "takes the romance of the century and turns it into a cheap, shonky and unintentionally hilarious filmus horribilus."
