5 memorable Idols season 11 auditions

Cape Town – It’s that time of the year again when wanna-be popstars embark on a journey to become South Africa's newest pop idol. 

Season 12 of Idols SA kicks off on Sunday, 17 July at 17:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161).

10 000 aspirant singers auditioned across the four cities. 

The top 79 singers made it to Theatre Week aka Hell Week at the newly revamped Wild Coast Sun where only 16 survived. 

But we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves. 

First up are the very entertaining audition rounds which kicks off  in Durban.
