5 things to know about Vuzu AMP's new show The Hustle

Cape Town – Vuzu Amp is in search of South Africa's next big rapper in their new hip-hop reality TV show, The Hustle.

Here’s what you need to know about the show.

1.What kind of MC they're looking for:

An undiscovered hip-hop sensation who boasts the complete package: edgy word skills, powerful beats and formidable business savvy – all combining to help them conquer the charts.

2. The amazing prizes up for grabs!

The winner will walk away with R250 000 in cash, courtesy of headline sponsors KFC, in partnership with Vuzu AMP, a record and management deal, valued at R250 000, a R100 000 music video for their winning song, accompanied by a 6-month public relations contract with African Star Communications and a career-boosting opportunity to perform alongside respected heavyweights at this year’s Maftown Heights celebration, to be held in Johannesburg in November.

3. Meet the judges and host:

On the judging panel is AKA, Khuli Chana and Tumi Molekane. DJ Sam Lehoko (Sammy Sousa) will be the host.

Having started in April with a call for entries, would be contestants submitted a 15-second audition video on Instagram, the judges worked their way through thousands of entries until they had selected the Top 20 finalists. Check them out here.
