Cape Town - Since 2000, reality television has become the new hot thing.

With shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians ranking in the dough it comes as no surprise that South Africa is also catching on and vying for its slice of the multimillion rand pie.

Here are 6 local TV shows that you have to watch :

1) Dineo's Diary

This show chronicles the life of pint sized TV presenter/actress Dineo Ranaka (and her equally interesting family) on her journey towards building a business empire.
