1. All Access: Mayweather vs McGregor (Showmax)

The legendary champion Floyd Mayweather has never been beaten, but this time it’s different as he takes on the UFC superstar Conor McGregor. Go behind the scenes of the Money Fight and prepare yourself for the biggest and most cash-flush fight in combat history. The four episodes in this All Access documentary series gives insight into how these iconic fighters became the champions they are today.

2. Kingdom, Seasons 1-3 (Showmax)

This critically acclaimed MMA family drama comes to you first and only on Showmax. It tells the raw, intense story of the Kulina family, who run the Navy St Gym in Venice, California. Frank Kulina, the patriarch, is the coach, and his two sons Nate and Jay have big shoes to fill - and plenty of hurdles to overcome before they turn into MMA champs. The fight scenes are jaw-droppingly realistic but what the show also has in spades is the very human drama of a family on the edge.

3. Fight Stars (Showmax)

Go beyond the ring to experience the highs and lows of the glamorous lifestyles of sport's newest breed of stars, both men and women (including the Money Fight’s Notorious Conor McGregor). New episodes are added monthly!

4. Total Combat Presents: One Championship (Showmax)

Experience the best of One Championship’s premium MMA events. Each episode features back to back fights, including the pre-fight build up. New episodes are added regularly.

5. I Am Ali (Showmax)

More of a boxing fan than an MMA follower? Hell, even if you’ve never watched a boxing match or a moment of combat sport in your life, you need to see this eye-opening documentary about one of the greatest men of the 20th Century. It offers unprecedented access to Ali’s audio journals from the 1970s, and interviews with those in his inner circle, giving unique insight into the life of the legend.

6. Glow (Netflix)

The 80s TV show called the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling is little more than the hairbrained scheme of a man with more money than sense, in the opening episode of this addictive, quirky and beautifully shot 10-part series. But it turns into so much more when a director with a cult following comes on board, and he hires a motley collection of actresses who are looking to break into the mainstream. And then when a former soap star who’s recently had a baby agrees to take part, the show looks set to be a hit… Until the personal lives of the actresses, the investor and the director start tripping them up. Starring Alison Brie from Community, all grown up and fiery and utterly believable as our amateur-wrestler heroine.

7. Team Foxcatcher (Netflix)

John E Du Pont was heir to a massive family fortune - and a wrestling enthusiast. He set up the million-dollar Foxcatcher Wrestling Facility on his enormous estate to encourage the growth and development of the sport, recruiting champions from around the country. But Du Pont’s dark side quickly started showing itself. This documentary tells the story of his descent from philanthropist to murderer.

Watch the Money Fight on Showmax from 10:00 on Sunday, 27 August, the same day as the live broadcast on SuperSport.
