Cape Town – The competition for SA's second The Voice winner is in full swing. 

With the coaches saves depleted, the fate of the top 8 lies directly in the hands of the voting fans. 

At a recent press conference we got to know the top 8 a little bit better. 

Here are 8 top 8 secrets:

Caroline's day job

Although she completed her LLB she doesn’t practice law. Instead, Caroline runs a guesthouse in Bloemfontein and still does the books every Sunday before hitting the stage. 

Josh's Zimbabwean roots

Josh was born in South Africa but lived in Zimbabwe since he was two years old. He has a big fan base in Zim and every Sunday there are viewing parties set up to watch him perform.

PJ loves a good ballad

He's a sensitive guy and sucker for ballads. PJ loves the heartbreaking, emotional songs and found this week's choice Sweet Disposition very challenging.

Samantha's Voice SA journey

After working in the industry for eight years Samantha has suffered many setbacks. Her dad called her at 01:00 to encourage her to give it one more try and this led her to The Voice SA audition. 

Craig's obsessed with Facebook Live

Craig reveals that he recently discovered Facebook live and he hasn’t stopped making videos. He's totally obsessed with it.

Fatman's Panama hats

You can’t miss them in the audience Fatman's fans are a sea on Panama hats. He reveals that he always loved the hats and wears them when he walks from his front door to the car.

Tender's 20 years in music

Tender has been working in the music industry for over 20 years. She decided to take a break to recollect herself. The Voice SA has put her career back on track and she's not letting it go this time. 

Luke's toughest audition

No, it was not the Blind auditions. The toughest audition he had to was at Stardust where he had to sing three songs in front of 12 people which included the waiters and owners of the popular restaurant in Cape Town.
