Adele to get TV show to mark the release of her new album

Los Angeles - Adele is in talks to make a TV show to coincide with the release of her new album.

The Rolling in the Deep hitmaker's third LP - which is rumoured to be titled 25 - is due on sale in November and the star has been in talks with the BBC about making a televised programme to go mark the occasion.

An insider said: "Adele is simply too big just to be part of a green room of guests on a chat show. She deserves her own dedicated programme where the spotlight will only be on her."

The record was due to be released May 2014 but was pushed back by Adele's record label XL Recordings.

Now TV bosses want to capitalise on the wait and are planning to give Adele maximum exposure by making an hour-long show to be released in November.

The source told The Sun newspaper: "It's not like she desperately needs the publicity but you can't turn your nose up at that level of exposure."

Elsewhere, UK bookies believe Adele is headlining Glastonbury in 2016 and have slashed the odds following a surge of bets over the last 24 hours.
