Cape Town - The BBC Show, The World's Strictest Parents, is currently touring the broader Cape Town in search of a host family for the fourth season of the show.
The show is aimed at having two British teenagers spend a week with a local family and experience life under the rules of a household very different from, and often stricter than, their own.
"It's about how teenagers are brought up in different countries," said Gemma Yardley, casting producer for the show.
"British teenagers are in a state of disrespect and our aim is to find teenagers who are good to the core and who want to change."
'Not a holiday'
"Here in South Africa many families struggle and come from tough backgrounds. Kids from the UK need to know that, because they are really spoilt," she said.
According to Gemma the host family is expected to carry on as usual, while the visiting teenagers will still have to attend school and fit in with routine.
"It's got to be a normal week and it's not a holiday," said Gemma. "They will have to do their part and ultimately we want them to see how a nice family works."
The team will be searching for a host family until Wednesday May 11. Interested families can send an e-mail to Gemma at gemmayardley@twentytwenty.tv.
