Cape Town – A+E Networks UK, which runs channels like History (DStv 186) on MultiChoice's DStv satellite pay TV platform, announced at its Africa upfront on Tuesday that it has acquired the exclusive rights to the adventure pirate drama series Black Sails.

The Emmy winning series was filmed in South Africa.
