Bonang Matheba joins Top Billing

Cape Town - SABC3 has announced that Bonang Matheba will be joining Top Billing's presenter line-up in December.

Bonang, who is best known as "The Queen of South African Social Media", as well as numerous TV and radio appearances, will make her debut on the magazine show on Tuesday 11 December at 20:00.

She will be joining a long line-up of presenters such as Jeannie D, Jo-Ann Strauss, Lorna Maseko, Janez Vermeiren, Ursula Chikane, and Top Billing Presenter Search winners Simba Mhere and Jonathan Boynton-Lee as host for SABC3's highly successful magazine show.

'Relevant and inspiring woman'


Bonang is no new face to the entertainment industry, and has been been making television appearances since she the age of 15.

The presenter is also a style icon and has raked in many fashion and style awards over the years, and is also currently the face of Gert Johan Coetzee's fashion label.

Basetsana Kumalo, the executive producer at Tswelopele Productions which produces Top Billing, believes Bonang represents "true South Africa talent".

"She is a refreshing, relevant and inspiring young woman, who exudes warmth, grace and charm. She will bring her own signature to the show and it's a pleasure to welcome her to the Top Billing family," Basetsana said.
