Channing Tatum to produce TV sitcom

Los Angeles – Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin’s production company Iron Horse Entertainment have announced that they will be producing a half-an-hour sitcom called Nicky, based on the life of Nick Zano, who is a recurring face on 2 Broke Girls and Happy Endings, reports Deadline.

Zano grew up in a multi-generational family of seven women and plays a 30-year old version of himself as he tries and fails to leave the nest. Apparently Tatum and Carolin loved hearing stories about Zano growing up and thought it would make a great sitcom.

The two have produced films like Magic Mike and White House Down, but this will be the first time that the company will take on a TV series.

Nicky has set up shop at Warner Bros TV, but the company will still be producing films starring Channing Tatum, like a sequel to 21 Jump Street and a biopic about the life of famous daredevil Evel Knievel.

Despite the birth of his first child Tatum does not seem to be slowing down any time soon.
