Charlie Sheen: Make me proud Ashton

Los Angeles - Charlie Sheen hopes Ashton Kutcher makes him "proud".

The 46-year-old actor was fired from Two and a Half Men earlier this year following his erratic behaviour and while Ashton was brought in as his replacement Charlie insists there are no hard feelings.

When asked by TV talk show host Jay Leno if he had any advice for Ashton, Charlie said: "I mean, nothing I could say right here. No, I'm joking. No, no. Seriously, no. It's hard to give advice to a guy that accomplished. I would just give him a hug and just say, 'Make me proud, dude.' "

Calmed down

During the past year, the father-of-five has been discovered in a hotel room with a prostitute, rushed to hospital following a 48-hour party, wielded a machete on the top of a building and had two live-in 'goddess' girlfriends, but Charlie claims he has now calmed down.

The Hot Shots star - who was famed for his "Winning" catchphrase - said: "I realised I was pretty much LOSING. My defining moment was when I got fired. Yeah, the day I got fired from my big television show. I thought I could come back."

Although he was initially angry at being sacked from Two and a Half Men, Charlie says he can now understand their decision.

He said: "It was bad and I own my part in that, and I just want to make everything right.

"I should have been a little more responsible about the condition I was showing up in."
