London - Charlotte Church is being lined up for a judging role on the UK version of The Voice.
The 25-year-old singer is being pursued by the BBC to sit on the panel of the show - which featured Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green in the US - but TV bosses also want to get Cheryl Cole on board, despite the pair being involved in a long-running public spat.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl won't be pleased to learn that Charlotte is up for The Voice.
"She's keen on doing it as it will be a sensational return to UK telly after her humiliation on the X Factor. But there's way too much bad blood between her and Charlotte, they'd just end up arguing all the time."
'Fat head'
While the feisty Welsh songstress is yet to sign up for The Voice, the BBC have the rest of the year to persuade her to sit on the panel.
Cheryl - who is currently shooting her film debut as a TV talent show judge in What to Expect When You're Expecting in the US - previously slammed Charlotte as a "fat head" and criticised her relationship with ex-boyfriend Gavin Henson.
She said: "I don't know who she and her scabby boyfriend think they are. He's a posing idiot who looks like a girl. And she's not even gorgeous. She's a nasty little piece of work with a fat head."
In retaliation, Charlotte hit out at Cheryl's ability to judge on The X Factor.
Charlotte said: "I watch the X Factor in awe. Cheryl really has no idea she can't sing. She tells people the strangest things about their voice."
