Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow to reunite in new sitcom

2014-10-08 22:00

Los Angles - Courteney Cox is working on a sitcom for herself, Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston.

The Cougar Town actress is keen to work with her former Friends co-stars again after remembering how much fun they used to have together when they all appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show last month.

A source told Heat magazine: "Courteney wants to direct a pilot staring herself, Jen and Lisa as middle-aged women who have kids by artificial means.

"She started talks after their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. They had another dinner together in LA on 23 September to discuss details and it went really well.

"They're all incredibly excited at the prospect of working together again. Doing Jimmy's show reminded them how much fun they used to have."

However, Jennifer - the only one of the actresses not to have children - is said to be a bit uncertain about the show's subject matter.

The source added: "The baby topic must have hit a nerve for her. She's the only one who hasn't had children.

Courteney's got her daughter Coco and Lisa has Julian, while Jen hasn't become a mum yet, so it must be difficult to joke about.

"Either way, the three girls are in total agreement that a work reunion of some sorts is in order."
