Cape Town - Club Culture, a weekly youth music show presented by renowned DJs Fresh and Euphonik, starts on SABC1 on Saturday November 5.

Fresh and Euphonik are both popular DJs on radio station 5FM.

Club Culture aims to bring the latest music from local and international dance floors to SABC1 viewers.

In a statement released by the channel, Fresh and Euphonik commented on the programme, saying: "Club Culture has been a long time coming and only SABC1 could have done this justice."

Vukile Madlala, SABC1's publicity manager, believes the channel is about more than just television, saying: "We have always maintained that SABC1 is not just about television but is also a serious player within the youth cultural space.

"Club Culture affords us the opportunity to play that role."

The show will incorporate elements such as top five tracks of the week, hottest videos, DJ profiles and club style.

Viewers will also be able to use social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to interact with the show.

Club Culture airs on SABC1 on Saturday November 5 at 18:30.
