Johannesburg - The arbitration hearing of the 16 fired Generations actors will take place next
week, the CCMA said on Tuesday.
"The matter has been scheduled for
conciliation/arbitration and has been set down for 14 October at 09:00,"
said Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration spokesperson Laura
"In accordance with the CCMA practice and procedure
all parties to the dispute have been notified of the hearing date."
The CCMA had received a referral from the Generations
Actors Guild (Gag) relating to unfair dismissal.
The 16 were fired on 18 August for going on strike over a
