Cape Town - The newest member of breakfast show Expresso will make it even more worth the watch with his French ancestry, shrewd brown eyes and astute personality.
The French bulldog Bob has been part of the Expresso team since October 3 every weekday from 05:30 to 08:00 on SABC3. With his slightly too big ears, crumpled face and white and black fur, he has already won many hearts.
Bob is part of the programme's focus on pet care where experts give tips on how to care for your furry friends.
Expresso producer Bradley van den Berg came up with the idea to bring Bob in as a newest member of the presenting team.
Dog food producers Bobtail have also come on board.
"We've always been passionate about pets and pet care and our partnership with Expresso will prove it," said Steven Bedford, Bobtail's marketing manager.
According to Van den Berg, Bob's presence is a way to appeal to dog owners, because Expresso's viewers are interested in pets and how to care for them.
Bob has his own personal coach, Nicole Alers, and has already stolen everyone's hearts with his extraordinary features, Van den Berg added.
Photos and video clips of Bob and his progress on the programme can be seen on Bobtail's Facebook page.
