Dominic's Idols luck runs out

2012-08-29 08:05
Johannesburg - Dominic Neill is out of the running for the Idols 8 title.

The 20-year-old entertainer from Johannesburg has been voted out after he ended up in the bottom three with Simphiwe and Melissa on Tuesday's elimination show.

In the previous week's results show, Dominic was kept in the competition with a mere 36 votes separating him from Chloe, last week's ousted contestant.

This was Dominic's third time in the bottom three.

After performing Mr Big's To Be With You, judge Randall Abrahams announced that Dominic would not be saved.

The Top 6 Idols will perform in the season's Showstopper event on Friday 31 August at the Mosaïek Teatro in Johannesburg.

Idols airs on M-Net and Mzansi Magic on Sundays at 17:30.

Hopefully all the people saying the show is racist will shut up now.

They make it so obvious that the show is fixed. Stopped watching long ago.

Dominic was set up to fail! How could the so called judges not pick during auditions that he was not a great singer? They will get their desired result by hook or by CROOK!!

This is surely the Idols series with the least talent in history. Cloe was one of the very few who could actully sing and she is there no more. None of the remaining lot deserves to be an idol.

So sad that everything needs to come down to colour with especially white South Africans. So what if we have a black idol this year? Out aside your prejudices, look beyond colour and just listen to their voices for a change. ASSEBLIEF.
