Durban delivers some of the worst Idols auditions so far this year! Watch them here!

Durban – Durban is home to three Idols winners so we expected big things! But the city failed to deliver as almost every audition turned out to be a wooden mike. Golden tickets were few and far between.

Here’s how things went down.

The bad vibes started when 'random' Pashasha Mapekula failed to impress the judges.

Things went downhill from there we can’t blame the judges for having really bad thoughts. It was absolutely horrific to sit through.

Then somewhere out of the blue a ray of sunlight came through and she was just what the doctor ordered. The judges awarded their first golden ticket to intern doctor Lihle Buthelezi who won them over with Jennifer Hudson’s, Love You I Do making her an early favourite.

Vincent was back! This time around he was doing it for the fans. This was the last time he could enter and well we’ll let the video do the talking.

Talking about comebacks another familiar face was Kyle Deuthchmann who made the top 32 in Season 8. Maybe this time around he’ll make it to top 10?

The showstopper of the evening was without a doubt Vincent Bones. Having lived on the streets since he was 12 this self taught musician plays four instruments and attributes all his success to Boys Town. Now this someone we all can back.

The list would not be complete without mentioning the entertainer of the evening Nkosinphile Mbambo  gave new meaning to Rihanna’s Diamonds, shine bright like a Braaiman! Who can blame him we all love a good braai!

In no time #braaiman was trending on Twitter and even gave birth to the hasthag #braaidols!
