Cape Town – Elma Postma is returning to the world of soap operas.
It was recently announced that Angelique Gerber, otherwise known as 7de Laan's Clara, will be replacing Postma as the host of kykNET's reality programme, Boer Soek 'n Vrou.
Ernst Swart, publicity manager for the soap Binnelanders, revealed that Postma has signed a one year contract with the soap opera and will begin filming on March 1. Viewers will see Postma in her new role from episode seven of season seven, airing in April.
From April 4, Binnelanders will once again be a half-hour show airing exclusively on kykNET (DStv channel 111).
Postma played the role of Dezi Terreblanche in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan until 2007. After that she joined the Boer Soek 'n Vrou team. In 2010 she starred in the SABC2 drama The Mating Game.
