Cape Town – Giuliana Rancic, co-anchor of E! News on E! Entertainment (DStv 124) opened up on the show about the recent second miscarriage they've suffered as she and husband Bill Rancic are trying to have a second child.
Earlier this year they decided to start the process of having a second child after their first, Edward Duke.
They asked the same woman, Delphine, to be the surrogate again after having been the surrogate of their first son who is turning 2 years old in August.
Unfontunately Delphine recently lost the baby – the second miscarriage Giuliana and Bill Rancic have now experienced after Giuliana experienced a miscarriage in March 2010.
On E! News Giuliana Rancic was joined by husband Bill and talked about the experience of going through such a traumatic experience again and the couple's ongoing pregnancy struggles.
"In marriage there's going to be highs, there's going to be lows. For us, we're not quitters and hopefully we're going to have another baby soon," said Bill.
"Before we had Duke we had struggles there too. We were trying for years to have a baby. We had a miscarriage then," said Giuliana Rancic.
"So to see Duke, you realise, 'Wow, everything is meant to happen for a reason'. And we wouldn't have Duke. So it's pretty incredible to think how life works," said Giuliana.
"And the challenging times bring you closer together," said Bill.
