Cape Town - Nosipho Mngomezulu's Idols dream is over.
The 22-year-old farmer from Soshanguve received the least votes from viewers after her performance of Bruno Mars' Grenade in Sunday's episode of the reality show.
In Tuesday night's elimination show, host ProVerb singled out the bottom three of the remaining nine contestants. Chloe Kiley, Dominic Neill and Nosipho ended up in the hot seats.
This was Dominic's second time in the bottom three.
Before the elimination was announced, Flash Republic performed their single We're The Kids. Flash Republic frontwoman Tamara Dey was this week's mentor.
The Top 8 Idols 8 contestants will perform in front of a live audience at the Mosaïek Teatro, on Friday 17 August and the spectacular will be broadcast on M-Net and Mzansi Magic on Sunday 19 August at 17:30.
