Former Generations actress will not be returning to the soapie

Johannesburg - Actress Nambitha Mpumlawana who played Mawande Mememla on Generations rubbished reports that she will be returning the SABC1 soapie.

A fan on Twitter asked the actress if she will be returning to Generations: The Legacy and Nambitha replied, “ Perhaps those who made up this tale could tell us both!”

The rumours of Nambitha’s return on the soapie began circulating earlier this year when the head scriptwriter and co-producer of Generations, Bongi Ndaba mentioned, “Mpumlwana would be coming back to the soap for a few weeks to wrap up her story line”.

Soon fans of Nambitha such as television and radio personality Kuli Roberts tweeted; “It’s sooo cool that Generations can’t do without Nambitha Mpumlwana! Go girl!”

The excitement spread and fans expressed their joy at Nambitha’s return .

For now Nambitha has assured her fans that she is “happily filming season 2 of Ashes To Ashes.”
